My Lash Lift and Tint Experience
Back in the fall, I finally got a lash lift and tint and loved it. I tried lash extension and it wasn’t for me, then I had to grow my lashes back in because of the extensions. Thanks to EyEnvy’s lash growth serum, now I have long and thick lashes. I’ve been finding ways of shortening my morning beauty routine and having to curl and add mascara took up time. I was also tired of raccoon eyes by the end of the day.
A lash lift is basically perming your eyelashes. It lasts up to 3 months, but truthfully mine has lasted longer than that. Tinting is dying your lashes, and since it’s semi-permanent, it lasts about 4 weeks. It’s pretty affordable, about $75 for the lift and $25 for the tint. You can continue wearing mascara, it makes your eyes look more dramatic, in a good way.
Here’s how it works:
You lie down in a chair and the esthetician cleans your lashes. Then a silicone pad is placed under your eyes to hold lower lashes down. Next, another silicone pad is adhered to your upper lid to provide a curved surface for your eyelashes. Using a soluble adhesive, they brush your lashes upward on top of the silicone pad. Once adhered, the first solution is applied to your lashes and sits on your eyelashes for a few minutes and then removed. The second solution is applied to your lashes and sits for a few minutes and then removed. Next, the tint is applied. Once the tint is removed the conditioner is applied. After a few minutes, there’s a final wipe of the lashes and the silicone pads are removed.
I went to Wink Boutique for my first time, and now I go to Mync Beauty, it’s closer to my place. Both of these places are fantastic and are similar in pricing. This whole process took about an hour. Getting a tint only takes about 20 minutes.
Those are my lashes, bare. Not too bad, since they grew back.
Those are my lashes after the lash lift and tint. I’m NOT wearing mascara!
